Witness for Peace - 1987

Over the years CUCC members have participated in numerous overseas service trips. In 1987 Jo Perry and Lavon Page were part of a Witness for Peace trip to the war zone in Nicaragua. This was during the period of conflict between the Sandinista government and the Contra rebels. Two documents were produced as a report on that trip. One is a textual narrative of the experience, and one is a photographic journal.

Service Trip to Puerto Rico - June 1986

In 1986 Rev. Cally Rogers-Witte led a group of CUCC adults and youth to Fajardo PR. The purpose was to build fellowship with a local church in Fajardo, as well as to work on a service project at a Fajardo hospital. Participants in the trip ranged from early teens (including Cally's children) to 84-year old Helen Brown. The video-tape presentation below was assembled from slides and audio recordings made while the group was in Puerto Rico.

5th Graders' Christmas Skit 1984

The script for this short video was written by the kids who performed it. They were doing it just for fun, as there was no audience other than the video camera. The participants are Mary Ann Rogers-Witte, Bert Lamb, Ian Larrea, and Gabe Perrota. The teacher and videographer was Lavon Page.
